Can’t edit slides in Adobe Captivate 2019

I’m unable to edit slides that I add to my project. Every time I load a new blank project, I have to scroll to view a slide and when I click the slide to edit, my view moves so that I can’t make any changes. When the view automatically moves, the slide disappears and I can’t find it in the editing area.

I have attached a video of my issue:

Slide editing issue

What should I do to fix this? Many thanks in advance!

You are in a responsive project, but the shown problems make me suspect that you are using an OS version which is not compatible with the Captivate version you are using. Please mention the Exact version full number as can be found under Help, About Captivate.

If you are on a Mac, Monterey and/or using M1 on Apple you need the most recently released versio 11.8. Have a look at:

This looks a lot like the you are running the latest macOS software but might be running an earlier and incompatible version of Captivate 2019. See this blog post here to learn more: https://elearning.adobe.com/2021/02/update-for-mac-users-adobe-captivate-2019-build-for-macos-big-sur-macos-11-is-here/
