I signed up during Adobe eLearning World 2021 and was wondering what the status is of the beta release that was scheduled for November.

Looking forward to a deep dive into the new version of Adobe Captivate.

I would love for Project Charm to have a one-time pay-to-own license (like Captivate) instead of a subscription plan.

Where can you still purchase a one-time license for Captivate?

Announcing Project Charm test kitchen at the Adobe Learning Summit 2022

This is good news! Looks like we can get access to a beta version in October.

Does anyone know if you choose the creator track for the Adobe Learning Summit 2022 if you will receive Captivate certification for Captivate 2019 or Captivate Project Charm?

I don’t understand this lack of listening and consideration. Highly disrespectful

It absolutely is disrespectful and unprofessional, but it’s also no different than they’ve been in terms of communication for years and years now.

I understand how betas work and am patient.  I did sign up for the beta during the conference and never received the link (I have 16,000 learners).  Betas are not supposed to be perfect and that’s fine.  I would just like some transparency on Charm.

Same for me, Mark. It’s very disappointing that Captivate is treated like the redheaded stepchild at Adobe. It’s a valuable tool for those of us who create learning.

I kind of gave up. I even had a thought that the project, for some reasons collapsed.

Could someone at Adobe please update users on the status of Project Charm?  The link in this discussion just redirects to elearning.adobe.com.  Thank you!

I’m afraid no-one can do it. The Captivate team became silent, and the users don’t know. There’s a post by Pooja Jaisings:

https://elearning.adobe.com/2021/10/announcing-project-charm-the-upcoming-version-of-adobe-captivate/

But it gets me to the landing page.

Thanks for providing this link – a good one to keep an eye on. Very excited to see Project Charm first hand when I can.
