Building a H&S assessment in Captivate

Hi, I have been tasked with creating a couple of H&S assessments that our employees can complete and then the responses get directed to their manager for review.

I don’t need a quiz but am unsure as how best to do this.

Can anyone help/advise please?

You can publish as a standalone and send the results to a manager via email. I haven’t done that yet with Cp, but I have done it Articulate.

There is no way to publish to standalone after the demise of Flash player. You need to publish and upload to a webserver or LMS. Then send the URL.

Hi Lieve, thanks for your response.  I have tried building a quiz however (probably down to my inexperience with Captivate) I can’t work out how to get it to feed directly to individual managers to review if they need to do any adjustments, through our LMS.  I have a call in to our supplier to seek their help so it may be they have a solution.

Thanks

This is indeed the best way to find a solution. If you use a LMS of good quality, answers can be reviewed in the LMS by the managers. Some LMSs also allow to check values of user variables, and that may extend the already existing reviewer possibilities of the default quiz slides.

Why do you not use a quiz? It can be reported to any LMS.

If you don’t want to use a LMS, you’ll need to store the answers in user variables, and find a way (with JS) to transfer them to a spreadsheet or a database.
