In a work captivate 2019 file we have a slide that when you run it has three slides contained into it.   They are all called slide 11. By clicking the button you will get the new image and text.  How do I get to see the layers or groups in this slide?  I need to change information in the chemical hazard portion of the slide.

The image is covering up your text. So I am just guessing what your problem is.

Is this a slide based on a slide from a Quick Start Project? I suspect that you need to find the multistate object which is used to show the explanations for each of the buttons Reporting, Physical Hazards, Chemical Hazards.

There is no easy way to see which object is multistate on the Timeline. You could open the Object State panel by clicking the State view button after selecting any object. There is a dropdown list with all objects on the slide, which you can open one by one until you find the multistate object with the explanations you are looking for.

If you post a screenshot of the timeline, or can tell me which Ready-to-go-slide from which Quick Start Project was used, I could give a more detailed help. Have also a look at this blog post:
