OK this is very well explained. I hadn’t noticed it was greyed out in the first place. I will try to find preferences and see if I can make heads or tails of this. It is a steep learning curve and there are only so many blog posts, vlogs a person can take in! I know the advice is out there, but finding the relevant stuff in a sea of information is tricky. Thank you for your assistance

It is simply impossible to add a results slide only from the Assets library. I have explained this extensively in two blog posts, one for non-responsive projects and one for responsive projects. Here is a link for the second post, you’ll easily find the first in that case as well:

Reason: a score slide is added automatically whenever you have inserted at least one quiz slide in the project. It is always based on the results master slide of the used Theme. Problem is that since 11.5 you can use multiple themes in a project, and when you will add a score slide with the Quiz Preferences, Settings the look of that score slide may not be the look you want. I would try anyway to add the score slide back in the Preferences
