Retake Quiz button does not appear after fail

What could be the reason why the retake button would not appear for a learner after failing the quiz? When I test the very same version of the course in the LMS, the retake button appears as it should, but I have a user who I verified by proxy that it does not appear for him. Could there be a bug that causes this to break?

It is always tough to try to solve a problem like this, where only individual users do not have the course behaving like expected. At least, that is what I understand from your question? It is not happening for everyone? Is the object style for the Quiz buttons using a websafe or Adobe font? If you use a system font which is not installed on the learner’s system it should be replaced by Times New Roman.  Is there something special about the learner’s account, more specifically about the rules set up in the LMS for her/him?

I sincerely doubt this is a bug in Captivate if it is not happening for everyone. You could also try to double-check in SCORM Cloud and give access to that particular learner to that version to see if it is linked to the LMS setup.
