I am recording a software simulation where one of the steps is selecting a text field and entering text. I would like that part to be part of the assessment; when the user enters in the right text in the assessment, the correct feedback from the click box is generated, and if the text is incorrect, then the “incorrect” feedback is generated.
However, when I am recording the simulation and trying to play it back, the step of the text being entered is there as an uneditable video/animation step. Another wards, every other step in my simulation – clicking the text field, choosing a color, styling – is a step that captivate has understood as being something that it needs to wait for the user to do, and can elicit feedback for, whereas the entering of the text happens automatically and does not allow the user to do that.
Is there a setting for this that can be configured?
Thank you
You posted this same question twice, I answered the other thread. See:
