Is it possible to create a card game that works similar to something like this:

There are three card categories. Each category has about 15-25 cards in it. When the user click on the blue card, it randomly pulls a blue card from the “blue deck”. The same happens for the red and green decks. Is this possible to build in Adobe Captivate and if so, could someone point me to some tutorials on what features I would need to learn? Thanks!

It should be very easy to transfer this workflow to create the example you mentioned in your question.

Something like this example project, created with Captivate? I used the same deck three times, but it is perfectly possible to have different decks. This is using multistate objects and rather simple advanced actions, with some JS embedded. Click the link:
