I bought a course from someone that created the course in Captivate. The course was updated in Learndash and now it is saying “This project is expired”. Do you know why Im having this issue and do I need to purchase a copy of Captivate?

Check my answer in this thread, where you posted the same question:
I think the Adobe Captivate subscription period would have expired for the person from whom you got the course made. If you have the source (.CPTX) file of the project, you can re-publish it once and upload the new HTML5 zip on Learndash. You won’t see that expiry message as long as your Captivate subscription is active.
