Learning JavaScript can be difficult. Did you know that you can use the AI chat engine ChatGPT to write JavaScript for you? This script can then be incorporated into your Captivate projects.
To start, we will open the AI chat engine ChatGPT and ask it to write a specific script for us. Once the script is written, we can copy it into the clipboard and paste it in an editor. We will need to alter the script just a little so we can get it to work in Captivate. Once the editing is done in Captivate, you are set to run the script inside of your Captivate project.
Take the time to read the script and do your best to understand what it is doing.
ChatGPT could certainly be helpful in some ways but it can also steer you down some rabbit trails.
ChatGPT is not going to know about your object names or Captivate specific commands and could leave you just as stranded as you were before using it.
So you have to be careful what sort of JavaScript you need and where to troubleshoot it.
