I’m hoping to tap into the collective wisdom here. I have a fill-in-the-blank quiz where I want the learner to select a word, but the drop-down field itself is short and shows only first couple of characters. How can I expand the field so that it displays the entire word?

Thank you, Lieve. I am trying to finalize my first ever Captivate project, and I have a list of small problems that I have not been able to solve. With your help, I can at least take this one off my list.

It helps if you mention both the exact version number (Full number to be found under Help, About Captivate) and the OS you are using. It is also important to know if your question is about a non-responsive or a responsive project.

However this is an old pain… I can just offer you a ‘workaround’: put the longest correct word at the top, eventually add a space before the word and check if the problem is solved. The displayed width of the field is set to the length of the first word.
