No sure to understand your question correctly, so I will trust my intuition.

You probably refer to  activate Reporting and set criteria based on slide views, without a need for any scored object?

Sure, that feature is available in the new version:

  • Go to Preferences (under Edit menu in Windows, I suppose under Captivate menu for Mac?)
  • Go to Quizzing
  • Go to Reporting and check ‘Enable Reporting’
  • You’ll see a dialog box similar to the one in previous versions.
