How to Use Conversation Slides in New Captivate?
I work in language learning, and have been striving to make Captivate (along with other Adobe products) a viable tool for language educators to create their own interactive language learning tools. The bulk of "e-learning" made with authoring tools such as Captivate seems to be training.  This is typically approached in a purely didactic manner: the learner is supposed to "learn" some piece of information. Language acquisition, on the other hand, is something different. It is not about learning facts, but rather acquiring functional skills. And this happens by way of interaction, rather than memorizing data points. In other words, the interaction itself is how humans acquire language ability. Normally this is a social process, which happens among people in "live" contexts. I want to see how well Captivate serves as an authoring tools for supporting such learning online.

Does anyone know where there might be instructions on how to use the conversation slides in the new Captivate? I can’t find any information on this, and the mechanism for these slides is mysterious. I can’t find any way to make them work at all.

You cannot, moderator should have seen this and deleted the superfluous post. At least that is what I do in the Adobe forum as moderator. You posted the same question there as well. I am focused on CP2019 as priority. There are only a limited amount of video tutorials available and the Conversation slides are not included AFAIK. Being a user like you, I may explore the new version bit more in-depth but I have learned from the past that whatever tutorials I published on my blog post to supplement to the Help, were often stolen. That makes me a bit more reluctant. If I have an answer to a question, I will try to post it here or in the Adobe forum.
