Unable to independently edit video slide duplicates in Captivate 2019
(3)

When I duplicate a video slide in Captivate 2019 and edit one copy all of the changes appear in the duplicate. Is there a way to duplicate so that they can independently be edited? I am trying to split the video into two parts and insert content between them.

Hello @grahamg50790389,  I am not very clear if you are talking about Insert Media> Video >and choosing event video? And what type of editing you are doing to this video. Request you to reach out to our support team at tcssup@adobe.com so that they can help you troubleshoot and fix the issues.

CP2019 had quite a lot of releases. It is always a better idea to mention the full version number which you can find under Help, About Captivate.

Your term ‘video slide’: do you mean a real video or a normal content slide? If it is a video, not much editing can be done in Captivate except maybe some trimming. Can you detect the video in the Project Library? Maybe duplicate it there and give it another name.
