Problem Statement:

In some cases, the learners do not receive any notification or email to provide feedback after completing the learning objects although the L1 feedback option is enabled.

Brief Description:

Sometimes it may happen that a Learner does not receive the L1 feedback after completing a particular course. This can happen due to various reasons.

1. In most cases it is observed that the feedback is enabled at the instance default, not at the Default Instance.

2. Feedback is not set to appear after course completion.
3. Relevant email templates are disabled.
4. Reminder is scheduled to appear after a certain amount of time.

Steps to be followed to resolve the issue:

1. Make sure the feedback is enabled at the default instance or at the specific instance to which the feedback is not triggered.

Enabling the feedback at the instance defaults will affect or apply to only the new instances being created. This will not trigger the feedback for the default instance or already existing instances.

2. Make sure that the option “Show questionnaire immediately after Course completion” is checked under Course > Instances > L1 Feedback.

3. Check the following email template: ‘Email Templates’ (verify at both account level and course level)–> ‘Reminders & Updates’ –> ‘Request Learner’s Feedback for Course’.In case it is disabled, enable it and then test.

4: Login as Admin > Settings > Feedback. Check when is the reminder scheduled. In case it is scheduled for After course completion, change the option to On course completion as shown in the screenshot below.

In case the above steps do not work, delete the reminder present under Admin > Settings > Feedback, and create a new one for ‘On Course Completion’, and set the recurrence according to the requirement.
