Is anyone else having an issue with Captivate 12 when using slide transitions and text effects?

I often have header and body text fade in over a second or two but I’m finding that when I add a slide transition to a slide it will show the text first, then play the textual transition. Its almost as if Captivate is taking a screenshot, showing that then starting the timeline.

Anyone else finding this, if so any workarounds?
