Captivate does not detect recent files
Captivate detects older video and document files from my PC but will not detect newer files. They are the same types of files (mov and avi) for videos. However, Captivate does not detect them. I have version 12.1.0.16. I just purchased the subscription a couple of days ago. I uploaded the files onto my PC from an iPhone. They play just fine on my PC.
Please update to 12.2.0.19.
I am not sure if you got Adobe Media Encoder installed (it normally comes with Captivate, but since I also have Captivate Classic along with the new version, not sure)? Please try to re-encode the movies to H264 with that application. It looks like an incompatibility of the codec of your new files. The result will be a MP4 with the correct codec. Let me know if you need more details.
