Hey, folks! I’ve got a storage capacity challenge with hosting audio and video content in my eLearning modules. Have any of you faced a similar situation? Please share any suggestions or effective techniques that have worked well for you.
Hi! Using audio editing software is one method I’ve found to optimize audio in eLearning modules. You can considerably reduce file sizes without sacrificing the quality and clarity of the audio files by eliminating any extraneous silence or background noise and altering the audio levels.
I use Adobe Media Encoder to optimize both audio and video clips. Both are increasing file size considerably, so it is important to search for a good size/quality balance. In most cases it makes no sense to have stereo audio for narration. Be sre to use streaming video, not embedded video. Just some first tips.
