Looking for 2019 functionality in the new 2023 version of Captivate.
Hello – I’m wondering if there is a way in Captivate 2023 to publish a software simulation to a PDF like 2019 did. We have learners who still like to print and put in their notes, etc. Are there plans to add this functionality if it is not available yet in the new version?
Also looking for the step-by-step bubble/text box formatting controls where I can create the style and “apply to all slides” in a simulation. I see this functionality for picking a mouse pointer and applying it to all slides but not the bubble/text boxes yet.
Thank you!
It is many versions back that publishing to a PDF was available.
You could use File, Print to export a Storyboard or some other options but to Word, which makes it easy to create a PDF. However that was only possible for NON-responsive projects and the new version creates only responsive projects. It is one of the reasons I recommend to use Classic Captivate for software simulations. Other reasons are that in all modes the new version will zoom in on parts of the screen on mobile devices. That is not what you want for training or assessment at all.
