Project Audio Lost After Conversion to MP4
(1)

Hello!

I’m using Captivate 2017. I’ve re-scaled a number of simple projects with audio included in the text captions from 1024×627 to 1920×1080. After doing so, the audio still plays when I view individual slides or run through the entire project in Preview mode, but when I attempt to publish it as a video, the audio included in the captions is lost.

Any idea what might be going on?

Output to MP4 is for sure not the primary goal of Captivate as eLearning tool. You don’t specify the version you are using, which is officially no longer supported since we are at version 12 and you are using version 10.

You attached audio to objects? Keep to slide audio when you want to publish to passive video. Object audio will play when the object appears and is not always fully synchronized with the timeline. Moreover, since in a passive video nothing can happen in runtime, slight delays may happen as well.
