I am working on developing a course in Adobe Captivate. I want to establish a threshold for learners to pass the quiz and define actions for when they pass or fail. How can I set pass/fail criteria in a quiz?

To set pass/fail criteria in a quiz using Adobe Captivate, follow these steps:
- Select the result slide and click “Interactions” inspector in the right toolbar.
- In the “Pass Criteria” dropdown, you have two options:
- “Based on Percentage Scored”: Move the slider to enforce a minimum pass percentage.
- “Based on Points Scored”: Enter the minimum threshold for points scored.
- Select the “On Pass” and “On Fail” tabs and choose an action to define what happens when the learner passes or fails the quiz. You can explore different actions in the “Interactions” section of Adobe Captivate.

Are you on the New Captivate 12? If yes, you have to go to the Properties panel for the results slide. Click the Interaction button in the right toolbar and you will be able to set the passing score and define actions for Success and Failure.
If you are on a previous version, everything can be found under Quiz Preferences.
