Bookmarking issue with Captivate 12.3.0.12
(4)

I have added a slide video to a slide, then added a bookmark at the beginning of the timeline for that slide.  I then added a button with the action “Jump to Bookmark”, referencing that bookmark at the start of the video – essentially a “Replay video” button.  When in preview or in published form, the video jumps elsewhere in the video.  There is only the one bookmark.  I have not been able to determine a pattern, other than it never seems to want to jump back to the bookmark location I have defined.

Hi Jeffrey,

This is a bug (Bug No. CPNXT-22554). We have informed product team about this and will be fixed in future updates. As a workaround set the bookmark to 1 or 2 secs and then check. It should work.

Thanks,

Hey, I’m having the same issue with the ‘Jump to Bookmark’ feature in Captivate 12.3.0.12. I’ve set up a bookmark at the start of a video, but when I try to jump to it using a button, it takes me to a different location in the video.

I’m curious, did you ever find a solution to this problem? I’ve tried checking the bookmark’s timing and verifying the button’s action, but I’m still having trouble. Any help would be appreciated!
