Hi (Captivate Classic)
Is there any way to get rid of / hide the hand cursor when learners move the mouse over smartshapes or text captions? None have states attached and are not “Buttons”
I only want the hand to show when they can click on something.
It seems basic, but I cant see how to do it!
Thanks so much
To hide the hand cursor in Adobe Captivate Classic (formerly known as Captivate 2019 or earlier versions) when learners move the mouse over smart shapes or text captions, you’ll need to make sure these objects are not set as interactive elements (i.e., not acting as buttons) unless they are actually meant to be clicked.
- Select the Smart Shape or Text Caption: Click on the smart shape or text caption in your slide.
- Object Actions: Go to the “Properties” panel on the right side.
- Remove “Use as Button” Option: Ensure that the “Use as Button” option is unchecked. If this option is checked, Captivate will consider the object as a button, and hence, show the hand cursor.
Thank you for your question.
