How to hide continue button on failed quiz in Adobe Captivate 2024
October 11, 2024

I’m creating quizzes within my course, and I am giving unlimited tries to retake a quiz and pass it, but I don’t want the student advancing to the next module without passing the quiz. However, when they fail, the continue button shows up, and I need it to NOT show up unless they have passed the quiz. Please help.

This is a great question and I like Paul’s alternative suggestion since the Continue button cannot be hidden. At least as of when this answer was posted.

As far as I’m aware, you cannot hide the Continue button, but you can set the action for that button to do different things depending on whether your student has passed or not. I usually create two slides after my results slide. When students pass, they go to a slide after the results slide, congratulating them. When a student fails, I take them to a slide that informs them of their failure and instructs them to return to the previous slide (result slide) and press the retake button to try again.

Context question- are you talking about a continue button after ALL quiz questions? Or after each individual question?
