In this upcoming Livestream I will be taking questions about eLearning and Adobe Captivate from viewers.
The Adobe Learning Summit in Las Vegas only occurred two weeks ago and what do I find on the interwebs this morning? The Adobe eLearning Conference web site for Washington D.C.! Here is what I’ve been able to determine so far
In this video tutorial, I talk about the system requirements for Adobe Captivate 2019 Release and what sort of new computer you should be shopping for when it comes time to upgrade to a new laptop or desktop computer.

In this eLearning Livestream, I will share with you my presentation from the Adobe Learning Summit, Create Your First Responsive eLearning using Adobe Captivate. This session will centre on fluid box responsive design and I will be using Adobe Captivate 2019, however much of this session will be applicable to Captivate 2017 as well. I will also share some hidden features you can use to further customize your eLearning courses.
In this Adobe Captivate video tutorial, I share my best practice with backing up my Adobe Captivate projects as I work on them. I also reveal a hidden feature that might just save you hundreds of hours of lost work and many tears.
I’m impressed! With Adobe Captivate 2017 we had to wait for over a year before we saw an update to 2017 release. Here we are slightly more than a month has transpired and we now have some bug fixes and security updates to Captivate 2019. I hope that is a sign of things to come. Not that there are many things wrong with Captivate, but instead they work quickly to resolve any issues that come up.
So here is the skinny. When running virtual reality content on iOS devices the display was not as you expected and was cut off when an LMS launched the course in an iFrame. The other issue relates to HTML5 published projects where an upgraded PowerPoint project appears blank when the source PowerPoint file is in linked mode.
Anyway, regardless of your situation, make sure you are always running the latest version. Run the update procedures I demonstrate in the video or let your IT department know there is an update so they can push it out to your computer.
In this video tutorial, I propose a solution to warning your learners before they actually exit your eLearning course.
In this video tutorial, I show you how to enable WrapPoints for all fluid boxes, both parent and child level fluid boxes so that you can have unique and difference fluid box wrap styles for each part of your design.
In this Adobe Captivate video tutorial, I show you how you can create a drag and drop where you can specify a set number of like objects required to dragged to a single drop target. This is very cool if you need to test someone’s ability to count many like objects like casino chips or money and so on. If you are in Las Vegas at the time of this tutorial, you might find this helpful. Just don’t get caught counting cards!
In this video tutorial, I show you how to undock your panels in Adobe Captivate 2019 release.
