Random Feedback using Multi State Objects

A good course will offer more feedback than “Good job” or “Correct”. This is an opportunity for you to provide more details for the learner. Tell them why something was right or if they answer wrong, why it’s wrong. This tutorial will show you how to generate random feedback and then change the multistate object to a random slide.

Create a 3D Object from a 2D Image

Your learners are exposed to a lot of media (TV, movies, games) where production is at the highest level. How does your training look compared to these other media elements. In this tutorial, you’ll see how you can quickly convert a 2D image into a 3D Object using Adobe Photoshop. This new 3D image can be used within your learning and is an easy way to up the production without impacting the bottom line.

Shape Tween Part 2

This is the second tutorial on Shape Tween. In this lesson. you’ll see how to break text apart and change a geometric shape into a letter. There’s also a section where we review how to set the stage or canvas to transparent. Finally this tutorial will step you through the packaging process so you can bring the animation into Captivate.

Shape Tween in Adobe Animate CC – Part 1

This is an introduction on how to create a Shape Tween in Adobe Animate CC. The Shape Tween animation is placed inside a movie clip. The movie clip is then animated on the main timeline. This tutorial does not show you how to import this animation into Captivate. However, a previous video tutorial as well as a written tutorial I did has that information. The goal of this tutorial is to get your mind thinking about animation using Shape Tweens.

Importing HTML5 with a Transparent Background

This tutorial will show you how to package an Adobe Animate CC project into an OAM file. The OAM file can then be imported into Captivate. After this is done, the tutorial will step back to Animate to make the background transparent. Once the transparent background is in place, the Animate project file is repackaged and imported into the Captivate file.

Adobe Captivate – Publish as an iOS or Android App

In this video tutorial, I show you part of the process for publishing your Adobe Captivate project as an iOS or Android app using the Adobe PhoneGap features available to you. While the Captivate publish to PhoneGap process is relatively easy, there are some additional steps and costs associated with getting your app up and running with iOS and Android.
