In this video, I show you how to give users a printable certificate of completion in your Adobe Captivate eLearning project.
Thank you for all you have done. I have a similar situation where the client is not on an LMS and wants a certificate (which doesn’t have to be printed out). I have created my own Jeopardy game and have a score that will increase with correct answers and decrease with wrong answers. The score is showing next to the game board. When they are finished with the game, the client wants them to press a “Finish Box to see your Status” which will open up a certificate for the level that they have achieve. There will be three levels of certificates dependent on the score. I can’t figure out how to have a slide for a specific score open when the “Finish Box to see your Status” is clicked.
Can you help?
Paul Wilson sadly it’s for a huge user group and an LMS isn’t in the cards at the moment. I’m going to see if we can come up with some other options. Thank you for your advice!
Hi Paul,
This is great. Has the functionality improved with 2019? I’m looking to make it so that a learner taking a Captivate course outside of an LMS can get a certificate of completion and preferably email it to him/herself. I’m concerned in the example you showed that it would be pretty easy for the learner to get to this page and then print over and over again with all kinds of different names without those people taking the course. If I could have the code generate uniquely for each learner, that would be optimal.
