Hi Captivate Community
Shambu asked me to blog about all my new Captivate experiences and features I used to know while my e learning creation. I think this is a good idea to help people which have the same beginner problems like me and also to learn for myself with your hints and comments. Â For understanding what I exactly did on my projects I will upload the CPTX files for you.
My first blog entry will come at Sunday about how to work with advanced actions, buttons and a project of mine to handle with the problem that different students need different time to read a part of one slide.
Have great 170 rest days in 2017!
Gabriel
I am an instructional designer who has used Captivate on and off for many years ( I even used Robo Demo in the dark ages). I have always found the featured in captivate to be cutting edge and I get motivated to start using Captivate again, but either a slow computer or lack of free help would have me putting Captivate of the back burner, and then eventually the shelf, until the next time it woos me. I think a blog like your can be of help not only to beginners, but to users like me who need community to stay motivated.
For all newbies, maybe this blog post could be of interest to you. I wrote it based on many years of experience as a Consultant and a Trainer for Captivate (and other Adobe applications):

I’ll be presenting at the Summit about the first skill ‘Mastering the Timeline’.
Hey Gabriel,
Like you I am an instructional designer who is coming back to Adobe Captivate after many years. The features in Adobe captivate 2017 are much more intuitive and engaging than the older versions i used in the past, and the eLearning Community is an awesome place for instructional designers to not only get familiar with the new tools, but also collaborate with other designers. Also like you, I will start participating in the community and earn enough points to continue using the software.
