Oops, a course from 2013?
I have been teaching Photoshop for 20 years, so much has changed in PS since 2013. If you are using the most recent version (PS 2017) you could be lost. Artboards didn’t exist in 2013.
Start with the PS tutorials which you can access from the Adobe site. I would also recommend to try to have a trial version of Lynda.com and hurry to take some beginner’s tutorials on that site.

Photoshop is a great application, but mastering it only with free tutorials will not be easy.
Do you know if Adobe have their own certified courses? Or maybe some sort of third party courses? Im happy to pay but the free ones can be a bit hit and miss. Cheers, Logan.
Lynda is a pay site, but check your public library to see if they get you access for free! Mine does.
