What Adobe software should I use to enter full-screen PowerPoint slides into a live-recorded teaching presentation? I hope to accomplish a non-stop audio of my voice, paired with video that alternates (toggles) between the live presentation and PowerPoint slides.

You can use Adobe Presenter Video Express. This will allow you to record yourself with your web cam (along with audio) and what is on your computer (the power point presentation) You can then edit in the timeline (toggle) showing the screen, showing you or showing yourself as an object either left or right of the screen. You then publish the mp4 file and distribute on your lms, the web, or on youtube.
