When working on my project I have a slide that ends with images and text and I am trying to get the next slide to start with the same image nad text. I have set this up to work, but the problem is that when the first slide ends and the new slide begins there is a bliknk or dropout so that this does not transition from the sirst slide to the next seamlessly. Doe sanyone know why this is happening with Captivate and what a hack or solution might be. I have been trying to make sure that everything is ending withfull opaciity and the following slide starts with fullopacity.. anything you probably can think of I have tried.

I’m not sure what that means; “Time them for the rest of the project”.

If this was a question instead of a discussion, I could insert a screenshot. Bummer. Select the object and open the Timing Properties panel. In the top you have a dropdown list, with the options Specific Time, Rest of Slide (also be done with CTRL-E) and Rest of Project. I have several blog posts about TImeline also in this portal, maybe you could have a look at them. They explain also all timing options.

Don’t do that, try what I suggested, time them for the rest of the project, and hide them when no longer needed.

I duplicated the objects.

You don’t tell how you did set this up? DId you time the objects fo the rest of the project (and hide them on Enter for the slide where you don’t need them anymore)? Or did you duplicate the objects?
