Hello everyone, I am new to Captivate and have included audio on one of my Captivate slides. I would like to delete this narration and start again. I see three tabs, Audio, Edit, and Closed Caption, however the Edit and Closed Caption are grayed out and I cannot click on them. What do I need to do to delete my current narration and begin again.

Thank you.
Deborah

Why did you post this question twice? I already answered in the other thread. You told it was not a slide audio, which is strange for a ‘narration’. You had object audio, and you can switch to another audio clip in the Options tab. However you have to be careful: object audio is totally different, it starts playing when the object is visible, and cannot be stopped by a pausing point of an interactive object. Slide audio is synchronized with the slide timeline, and can be stopped by a pausing point (there is an option for it). Have a look at this blog post to hear and see the difference:https://elearning.adobe.com/2018/06/pausing-timeline-audio-clips/BTW all audio clips are also in the Library (which has Usage buttons) and can be deleted there.

Select it on the timeline and delete or just hit f6 to upload a new audio file.
