Did anyone have a problem with the installation of CP 2019? Today I installed the new version, and I’m not able to even try it out. CP closing automatically after launch. When it shows the first menu with an option to choose between different projects CP just close it selfs.

I tried to uninstall and instal it three-four times, changing the location of installation, and it’s still not working.

I have Adobe enterprise account and Creative Cloud for teams, and almost all of Adobe software I have installed.

My PC spec:  win 7 Enterprise, HP Zbook 17 G3 / i7-6700HQ / 16 GB ram / AMD FirePro W6150M / Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500G

I will be great full for any help or advice what I should do.

SOLUTION: First I would like to thank Mr Mayank Mehrotra from the support team.

So if you struggle with this issue follow the below steps:

If you already installed Captivate 2019:

1. Sing out from CC

2. Go to Crogram Files (x86)Common FilesAdobe and find and rename the folder “SLCache” – you can add a number SLCache01

3. Open CC app and sing in

4. Open CP 2019 and also sign in >>> and that’s all everything will be working correctly.

5. You will also have to sign in to the first Creative Could software after renaming SLCache folder.

Hello,

I cannot figure out how to “Run as Administrator”

Can anyone advise exactly what that means?

Thanks

you just go to the program, left-click on the icon, and select “Run as administrator” from the pop-up menu

This solution mostly worked for me, although once I reopened the program it prompted me to uninstall and reinstall it. I am looking forward to exploring the updated features and hoping for no more crashing.

Had to use a similar solution when I lose Tk fonts in Captivate. Sign out and in to the CC app. About the cache: wonder why this was necessary? Of course I clear cache regularly.

Could be a corrupt download Piotr, but usually those show up during installation. Best bet is to hop on a call or email with support. Can you email directly to us at captivateHelp@adobe.com ?
