Example of what is not possible with Fluid boxes there: you cannot have the explanation popping up on top of the chart at all. Repeat my recommendation: please use a rescalable HTML project, not a Fluid Boxes project. It could perhaps been done with a Breakpoint Views project, but you’ll have to count at least on double the developing time and a lot of testing to get it working.

Oliver, I have been teaching Project Management etc for many years, know perfectly what an Organisational chart is

Repeating: impossible with Fluid Boxes, easy with rescalable HTML non-responsive project.

Please see my org structure I created. I didn’t use an image for this. I only use a smart shape.

Thank you for your recommendation Lieve, I’ll try to transfer the org chart in the non responsive project.

Please, imagine displaying such a complicated structure on a phone webbrowser in portrait mode with a width of 380px? As I told, it is impossible to do with Fluid boxes because you cannot pop up the explanation on top. I would never look at that chart on a phone….

That’s true, I just try to create an responsive project because I use the fluid boxes in some slides in the project.

Do you have tutorials for the example I show you before?

You cannot combine normal slides with responsive slides. You have to decide what you want: responsive or not before starting the project.

I have also a backup of that project with not responsive project.

I prefer not responsive, because they will only view the module using computer or laptop. Because our eLearning site will be on intranet only.

Lieve, if I use only a state view for each button, is this will work?

Did you look at those blog posts, please?

In Fluid boxes it is IMPOSSIBLE to put a button over an image. That has nothing to do with the InBuilt states of the buttons. Reason why I asked if you really need a responsive project at all? Why not create a rescalable HTML project?

Yes I already look at your blog. Thanks for you answer lieve.

I’m not using fluid boxes. My project is responsive but I use blank page for the Organizational Structure.

Breakpoint views or Fluid Boxes?Fluid Boxes have a lot of limitations. You’ll not be able to use one image for the chart (which can be created in another application) and have click boxes over the parts, but you’ll have to create the chart with separate shape buttons for each  clickable area. You can look for my blog posts about ‘hotspots’, one of the most recent one is about setup hotspots in a Fluid Boxes project.Personally I would be fearing to do this in a Fluid Boxes project. Are you convinced to need a responsive project?

I answered your question but the answer is blocked because of some links. I asked to specify the version you are using, and if you want a responsive or a non-responsive project. Be patient for the rest of the answer.

You should tell if you want this for a responsive project with Fluid Boxes or for a non-responsive project? This is an important question, because Fluid Boxes do not allow stackable objects in the same location and are more limited for this type of use.

It is not an organisational chart, but a similar workflow can be used as I created in these two blog posts. My preference goes to using a multistate object to show the different explanations:

And for Fluid Boxes project (you’ll see the limitations):
