I’m trying to create an Organizational Chart using Adobe Captivate 2017, can any one help me how to create a clickable visual objects for showing any type of additional information
Did any one tried to create an Organizational chart and each element is clickable to reveal information?
Example of what is not possible with Fluid boxes there: you cannot have the explanation popping up on top of the chart at all. Repeat my recommendation: please use a rescalable HTML project, not a Fluid Boxes project. It could perhaps been done with a Breakpoint Views project, but you’ll have to count at least on double the developing time and a lot of testing to get it working.
Please, imagine displaying such a complicated structure on a phone webbrowser in portrait mode with a width of 380px? As I told, it is impossible to do with Fluid boxes because you cannot pop up the explanation on top. I would never look at that chart on a phone….
Did you look at those blog posts, please?
In Fluid boxes it is IMPOSSIBLE to put a button over an image. That has nothing to do with the InBuilt states of the buttons. Reason why I asked if you really need a responsive project at all? Why not create a rescalable HTML project?
Breakpoint views or Fluid Boxes?Fluid Boxes have a lot of limitations. You’ll not be able to use one image for the chart (which can be created in another application) and have click boxes over the parts, but you’ll have to create the chart with separate shape buttons for each clickable area. You can look for my blog posts about ‘hotspots’, one of the most recent one is about setup hotspots in a Fluid Boxes project.Personally I would be fearing to do this in a Fluid Boxes project. Are you convinced to need a responsive project?
You should tell if you want this for a responsive project with Fluid Boxes or for a non-responsive project? This is an important question, because Fluid Boxes do not allow stackable objects in the same location and are more limited for this type of use.
It is not an organisational chart, but a similar workflow can be used as I created in these two blog posts. My preference goes to using a multistate object to show the different explanations:

And for Fluid Boxes project (you’ll see the limitations):
