I’m used to zooming using the scroll wheel on my mouse. However, Captivate uses Ctrl+ and Ctr-. Is there a setting in preferences where I can enable zooming with the scroll wheel?

You can also use CTRL & “-” and CTRL & “=” to zoom out and zoom in, however these particular shortcut keys only work when you have used the CTRL & “number” (ie 1,2,3,4,5)

CTRL & “-” and CTRL & “=” will NOT work after you have used CTRL & 0

No, I’m sorry. Captivate doesn’t allow zooming with the scroll wheel, which is indeed a pity. It has more shortcut keys. I often use CTRL_0 to get Best fit, or CTRL-1, CTRl-2 to have 100% or 200%.

Thanks Lieve. Its not really a major issue, I’m just used to using the wheel on my mouse in other applications. I often find myself using the Ctrl +scroll in Captivate, but that’s a “user error” on my part.

I know! If my memory is correct, we had the scrolling wheel zoom for one version in the past. Personally I am a shortcut user whenever possible.
