Hiding navigation based on cpInfoCurrentSlide

Hi,

I placed navigation buttons on the first slide and I’m using an advanced script “on enter” for each slide that will determine whether to hide or show the navigation buttons.

My problem is that it’s not showing up based on the slides entered.  It starts off hidden and no matter where I go it doesn’t show.  Please see the images for the logic.  I attached this script to the on enter for all slides.

Thank you!

Todd

I have published a blo for your use case. You will see the comparison between the advance d action you are using and a shared action which I created after a lot of testing. It is now fully functional and  you can download it and use in your courses if you want. No problem with editing the advanced action if you change the sequence of slides or add/delete slides. It may seem a drawback that you have to attribute that shared action to each slide individually, but the advantages are much bigger than this inconvenience.

Thank you for your answer.  I appreciate your time.  I mixed up cpInfoCurrentFrame and cpInfoCurrentSlide.

Indeed, but you could do it with one conditional action. However I strongly recommend to group the buttons, you can hide/show a group?

I am busy trying to find a solution with a shared action, because there are several drawbacks with the Advanced Action solution.

There is no image attached, only screenshots of the advanced action. From those I detect that you are using either CP2017 or CP2019. Apparently you don’t know the Preview functionality of advanced actions, which is the first button in the  Top right control panel (looks like an arrow). I will post a link to the full description of the AA dialog box in another comment to avoid moderation waiting time.I cannot see the full action at al which is indispensable since a later decision can override a previous one.Why do you confuse cpInfoCurrentFrame which is normall for micronavigation with cpInfoCurrentSlide?
