Why does the Adobe Media Encoder open and stop me publishing a SCORM file to my computer?

Hi,

I have published many SCORM 1.2 files previously to my computer and never encountered this issue.

When I got to publish the file to my computer with HTML5, scalable content and as a zip file, it starts to publish then opens AME. I have never used AME and don’t know what it’s for or why it opens. Would anyone be able to help me please to know how to publish without it opening or what to do when it does?

Thanks

As David tells, this happens normally when video has to be encoded, because it has not the right H264 codec.  What format do you have for the inserted videos. Or do you have software simulations, which include FMR slides (Full Motion Recording)? For HTML output those SWF slides need to be converted to mp4 as well. I never use them, prefer replacing them by Video Demo slides which directly export to mp4.

Do you video in your project. If so AME Adobe Media Encoder encodes the video as a mp4 for playback in the web in html5 using .H264 codec.
