You’ll notice I was able to change the C ) answer. I’m having a hard time replicating this for A ) and B ). Appreciate the community helping.

Unlike Adobe InDesign where you would create a character format and apply it to the numbering system to change the colour, you have to do the reverse.
You change the colour of the entire text object by editing the Default Question Answer Style and that will change the text and the numbering object colour in the answer. The work around to create a character format is to use the Text Effects and create a colour overlay and apply that to the answer text not the numbering system.
This would be an enhancement that I would like to see, that ability to style the numbers or alpha characters separate from the Answer text.
