SCORM will not upload to LMS or SCORM Cloud

For some reason a SCORM will not upload to my LMS. I also cannot upload it to my SCORM Cloud library although the project can be previewed directly in SCORM Cloud from Captivate 2019. I suspect that there must be a problem with the SCORM. When I first exported it I saw an error in CP2019 so I closed the project, cleared the cache, reopened then exported it without a problem.

Does anyone have a solution? Perhaps I will have to recreate the project from scratch.

Long time user but first time publishing in Cap 2019. I am experiencing a similar issue. Where is the %temp% directory?

Thanks for the response.

The answer was to clear the %temp% directory on the authoring PC. It took 12 hours and a great deal of time with Adobe support to find the solution. I had tried clearing the Captivate cache, working through the project slide by slide, recreating it from scratch etc.

A symptom is also odd errors on saving e.g. an unknown exception referring to CPInternalZipUtils.cpp716

So if anyone else experiences this issue please try clearing the %temp% directory. I could not find this reported here or anywhere else. Hopefully it will save you a great deal of time and frustration!

Thank you for posting this solution.  This fixed my problem today and thankfully saved me from having to contact Adobe support.  Running Windows 10 I used Disk Cleanup to delete temporary files and it worked.

Hi there, we’ve had this problem with some Learning Management Systems, when you need to turn on “SCORM Reporting” under Quiz > Preferences.

If this is not turned on, some LMSs can reject the upload.
