Video slide transition
(2)

Issue resolved in the meantime, the problem was having the project on the network and not locally or in the LMS system. Sorry, I cannot delete the post.

***********

Dear Experts,

I have a progressive download video on the second slide of my captivate project (which is otherwise a software simulation) and I would like to do a transition at the end of the video (which is also the end of the slide, as  I set the length of the slide  to the same as the video) back to the first slide. The first slide serves as a junction where the user can opt to watch the video tutorial (button to slide 2), or do a test exercise (slide 3).

I set the slide to jump to slide 1 on Exit, but it still proceeds to slide 3.

Would you have any idea what am I doing wrong?

Here is the link. It has a free downloadable table:

Thanks for telling that it was solved. I just pop in to warn you about the On Exit event of a slide. That is an event which is not to be trusted. It happens right after the last frame and if the last frame is not visited it will never happen. Not only that logical problem, but also in other situations it cannot be trusted. On the contrary the On Enter event is OK. I have a blog post about all the events which can be used and in which circumstances. Will post link in another comment.
