Can’t group text captions in Captivate 2017

I’ve come across this problem before and it’s really frustrating.

I have two text captions, which I want to group together. Usually I’ll either press Control + G, or right click and select Group.

I’ve just noticed I can group things like smart shapes and other objects, but text captions are proving to be an issue.

The option of Group, doesn’t even show up when I select them and right click.

Has anyone else come across this before?

Sorry for the late reply Lieve.

The version is 2017, 10.0.1.285

The project isn’t a responsive project. Just a regular blank project.

I’ll put together a screen recording in the next day or so, so i can show you what’s happening.

Your version is no longer an authorized version as you can read in:

It is now 10.0.1.299. Please read that post.

Please, this question was republished but I don’t see any editing. Can you answer my questions? For the sake of other users: you can perfectly group text captions and other objects on the same slide, provided it is not a fluid boxes project where grouping is totally impossible.

Can you check the full version number under Help, About Captivate? It should be 10.0.1.299.

It is perfectly possible to group text captions in a non-responsive project. Is it that type of project? Grouping is impossible in a Fluid Boxes project.
