I am an agile coach and an executive leadership coach. I typically work with organizations who want to transform their culture, often involving many people, like my current client of 300,000 people. I'm hoping to learn to do eLearning well enough to scale myself.

Hi – I have two cameras, to film me talking about course material, because I want to get two different camera angles in the finished elearning.

However, I’m not clear where to even start on how to show both videos, and how to switch between them (meaning, how to tell captivate to switch between them). And whould it be better to record video of me talking directly from captivate? Or to record just on my cameras, then transfer the video files to my laptop, and go from there?

Any suggestions on where to start?

Still not sure what you want? Were you talking about two cameras or combining webcam with screen recording? Totally different situations..

Same, as previous video, probably not what has been asked here. Two cameras to have two viewpoints on the narrator.

OP  seems not to be talking about screen capture,, but about two cameras for talking voice video. That is a different question…. Video demo with webcam which has been taking over from Presenter Video XPress, is combining scree recording with webcam recording.

It is not totally clear what you want. Biggest problem with combination of videos is synchronization. If you capture a video demo at the same time as your webcam, that is taken care of by Captivate. However if you take individual videos to combine, I would recommend to use a video  editor like Premiere Pro for that purpose and result will be one output video.

You can have two videos on one CP slide, but only when they are event videos. GThat type of video cannot be controlled by Captivate, will probably not be a solution for you.
