How do I stop test from jumping and how do i edit it if it does jump?
Hi am creating a quiz with about 50 pooled questions in it. I am having trouble sizing the the answers of the quiz to fit different devices. Sometimes when I adjust the height of the answer the text jumps to a different area of the slide in a different fluid box where I am not able to edit it.
How do I stop the text from jumping and how do I edit if it does jump?
I did not edit the area where the answers are. Just need to change size of questions to fit different devices. I moved the correct and incorrect answer response to be in the review area., and made changes to the lower fluid box with the submit button. I did edit the Default answer area style box to uncheck ‘maintain aspect ratio’, this seemed to help out with adding pictures on some slides and not throw off the text answers.
Still think setup Fluid Boxes or master slides is messed in some way. You have to be very careful. Maintain aspect ration is normally not checked for individual answer shapes. If you need to add images to the quiz slides, you need to create space, but that involves also editing the fluid box for the answer area. Have described all those workflow in the quiz blog posts, under the Tweak series.
You are right, I removed a logo object from the master slide and the text is no longer jumping when editing. I have one more question. Everything was running great but now when I preview or publish the answers are not showing up on some or all of the slides. I tried to publish a version from 2 days previous that was working good and the same thing is happening. What could cause this?
Thank you for your response Lieve. I have read some of your blogs. I have not found an answer. I adjust the answer shapes by dragging the corners. If I accidently drag the shape often jumps to a different fluid box and is inaccessible. Is there a way to stop this feature or a way to access the shape when it moves?
Quiz slides are based on the quizzing master slides. You can find some of my blogs here in the portal and on my personal blog about editing Fluid Boxes quiz slides. You didn’t tell how you edit the size of the answer shapes.
All posts about quizzing are summarized in a downloadable pdf which you can find here:
