This interaction provides an insight into new sports added to the Summer Olympics in this century. Therefore, we are using a timeline to present all the facts in the correct order. This example consists of:
1) main page with timeline and texts, and
2) six popup windows that open when the user clicks on the corresponding year.

What is that example intending to do? When should the user use such a theme?
You have a quite long text that consists of several smaller parts? Each part represents an event or a step in some kind of a process? Need to lay out this information in an easy to grasp and attractive way? A timeline like this will work great!

Doesn’t work on Captivate 2019 version. Gives the popup error.

Hi, this was built in Captivate 2019, we just checked there seems to be a bit of Captivate bug, when previewing it in Captivate, but if you preview it HTML5 in a browser and when you publish it works fine. Most probably the error message is shown because X buttons in popups are created as images, which ironically is a feature of Captivate 2019 . Either, way, please try publishing it, it should work .
