Amy needs to develop an eLearning course on New eco-friendly engines for a popular brand of cars. But she knows very little about engines and new ecological fuels. To build her course, Amy needs to talk to an expert!
Her customer introduces her to Gavin. He used to be the head of the R&D department but at age 58, he decided it was time for him to help train the new generation of engineers. For the last five years, he has been teaching this topic internally using instructor-led training in a traditional classroom setup. Gavin is very knowledgeable and has a strong opinion on how things should be taught! What should Amy do to best collaborate with Gavin?
What is that example intending to do? When should the user use such a theme?
- Sequence 1 : Introduction. Say hello, introduce the characters and describe the potential conflict between each other opinions on teaching.
- Sequence 2 : Propose to the learner three ways Amy could react. Provide proper feedback for each answer.
- Sequence 3 : Present the theoretical explanation and give tips and tricks on working with an SME.
This type of scenario is typically used to teach communication skills. The module is like a digital role-play where the learner is one of the protagonists of the scenario.

J’ai bien cru entendre un accent français !!!… (mais j’ai bien vu que c’était un accent belge en fait !…)
Projet bien sympathique !…
(J’ai relevé une petite coquille, quand Gavin se présente : “I know the subject and I know hot to teach it”)
J’attends la suite !…

Ben… Je trouve que tu te débrouilles plutôt pas mal avec le clavier !… (À en juger par ton projet !)
Quant à l’orthographe… Que celui (ou celle !) qui ne fait jamais d’erreur me jette la première pierre !…
Bonne continuation également !
Happy Captivating !…
