Captivate Quiz Setting – Review & Retake

Hi all,

I have a QQ.

I need to activate the ‘Review’ option for a quiz. The problem is if I review the quiz then I don’t get an option to ‘Retake’ the quiz. I have to close the quiz and restart. This is okay if it’s a stand-alone quiz. But if the quiz is a part of an eLearning course then it becomes difficult. Am I doing something wrong?

TIA

Would appreciate if you gave some feedback.  Did you get enough information?

If you are have time to read, I have worked out a possible workflow to create a custom review slide, without using the default Review status. That review slide will not show the correct answers to prevent cheating. It is a lot of work especially if you have tons of questions. If you are interested, will post the link. Or you can have a look at my personal blog site.

I uploaded a sequence of blogs about Quizzes to this portal. You may find some information there as well. All links can be found in this summary post:

That is the design of quizzes. Since Review will show you the correct answers, it makes no sense to give the learner another attempt. What do you exactly want: multiple attempts on quiz level? In that case drag the Retake button on top of the Review button. The Review button will then become visible only when the learner passed the quiz or after the last (failed) attempt.
