Hi everyone! I have made a Captivate project on Windows PC and published it as  .app.  But wenn i open it on my Mac, it doesn’t works. I become a issuse with 2 oportunities:  “Cancel” or “Move to trash”. Is there any possibility to publish projects for Mac? Thank you!

Thank you for your answer!

We want that user can just download an E-Learning file and doesn’t need any Browser for it.

We have already Windows exe, but many of our customers want to have the opportunity to download and use it on Mac. What are the advantages to publish to HTML5?

If you want your course to survive end of 2020  when the Flash Player will definitely be dead, you have to publish to HTML5. That has the consequence that learners need a browser to access the course indeed. At this moment a standalone output is no longer possible, unless you want to publish to an Android or iOS app using PhoneGap.

I am a Win user. Alternative on Windows is to publish to an ‘exe’ file. That is becoming obsolete because that output is based on Flash technology. Maybe something similar is the case for your file? Why not publish simple to HTML5?
