While it is straight forward to add closed captions (cc) to slide voiceovers, I seem to have hit the roadblock when it comes to adding cc to an object containing audio (using actions) that is enabled via user input.

Is there a way to do this using advanced actions?

You’re welcome. It adds additional slides, but it maintains the look/feel and accommodates the accessibility needs you have.

Hi Abrar, as a workaround, you can add an additional slide to simulate the pop-up, so when the user clicks on a button they go to another slide with the visual that looks like the previous slide with the pop-up open and then have the pop-up voiceover set as the slide audio for that new slide. I would also add a close button to the pop-up that would take them back to the previous slide. That way, you can add closed captioning for the pop-up slide using slide audio but still simulate the pop-up experience. I have done this several times in my captivate projects to ensure accessibility accommodations. Let me know if you have any questions or need further clarification.
