Hello All,
I am working on a small project with 10 pages; 6 are just text and shapes for instructions, 2 are click and reveal using simple show actions (except for an execute shared action on the reset buttons), 1 is a click and reveal using multistate, and 1 is drop and drag. The simple click and reveal pages use either buttons or shapes as buttons for the show actions, the multistate uses jpgs, and all of the interactive pages have png files in the background. All of the pages have buttons for next and previous, except first only has next and last has exit button.
Problem/question: When I publish to html and extract the zip on my computer, I can only view the index file/project on Firefox and Explorer. When I view it in Edge, Chrome, and Brave I get the play icon, then the four squares of loading and then either nothing (blank/white) or just the shapes (no text or buttons) of the first page. However, if I mouse over the area where the next button should be, I can click on it and go to the second page which is visible. Once I get to the second page, everything seems to work fine.
Other problem/question: The goal for the project is to upload and extract it into our LMS (Canvas) for my anatomy students to practice terminology. There is no scoring so I’m not enabling e-learning output (no SCORM). When I extract and link the index.html file to a module, I can get it to play in Firefox and Explorer but in Edge, Chrome, and Brave, all I get is a blank page (not even the play icon). I have no way to even get to the rest of the pages. And I’m afraid the only reason the other two work is because they are older versions.
If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, I would greatly appreciate some feedback. My classes are about to begin and I have nothing (unless I force them to use Firefox).
LokiCoyote, were you able to resolve your issue? I have experienced the “blank” page(s) issue. I was even able to interact with the buttons that were not visible, but I knew where they were located on the screen. The only solution I found was to recreate (no copying and pasting) the slide.
Have given you several answers in this thread on the Adobe forums:
