Put me on the list as well.  My Captivate was working fine earlier this week.  No all of the sudden I get this error when trying to save.  So I can’t work on anything and save as a result.

I checked for updates, and my software is up to date.  I can’t turn off the internet as that will cause me to have to reconnect over and over to my employers network.  I am working remotely from home.

Any ideas of the source of the issue and how long it will take to correct?

I’m experiencing this error, too. I’m also getting file locked errors. I had to use the dcache utility to delete a LOCK file after the crash.

Adobe, I have a project due in 2 weeks. NEED A FIX.

I’m dead in the water too.  Have a critical deadline for a client.  When will this be fixed?

Thanks for reaching out – and very sorry for any inconvenience the error caused. We are already aware of this issue and product team is actively working on it. For now, you can try turning off internet > Relaunch Captivate and then try to open and save the project and see if this works.
